“BUT JESUS DRANK WINE” COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT GUIDELINES

In order to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone, our guidelines and rules are explained below.

First, we believe that your vulnerability, engagement, and how you show up in this community is a gift to yourself and others. So, we encourage you to show up for others and for yourself. Remember, we're all here to support each other.

If you see someone who is still struggling, please pay it forward and show up for them. And, if you want to share ideas from your own experiences, please do so from a place of empathy and compassion. We believe in radical grace, kindness, and compassion.
Please be reminded that this community is made up of people from many different backgrounds and opinions. So, let's stay curious without judgment. If you do see something that goes against our guidelines, please report it and let us take care of it.

Our goal is to maintain a safe environment for everyone in this community. We're here to be supportive, encouraging and uplifting, so please be kind and respectful in every interaction. Please refrain from disparaging others, speaking ill of other people or people groups, not just others in this group, but others in general, whether in real life and/or celebrities. Also, selling, recruiting, or self-promotion is strictly prohibited. And, please don't share anything that identifies another member.

We want to stay focused on our core purpose, which is to provide a safe and supportive space for our community to connect with like-minded, like-hearted women by engaging in conversations about all things related and not limited to sobriety, faith and freedom. To do that, we encourage you to focus on fostering positive interactions and to report (via a DM to the BJDW Gals or email hello@butjesusdrankwine.com) any behavior that goes against our guidelines.

Additionally, we ask that you refrain from cussing, arguing or discussing politics, social issues and self-harm. We value honesty and vulnerability which deems necessary a safe and supportive environment, and these topics can be divisive and triggering for some members.
If you or someone you know needs help with self-harm, please seek assistance from emergency services in your country. Our community is here to support you, but we are not a substitute for professional help in these situations.

We want to emphasize that the But Jesus Drank Wine Community operates under the complete discretion of our community founders, and leadership team. While we strive to maintain an inclusive and supportive environment, we reserve the right to remove any community member at our sole discretion, ensuring the safety and integrity of our space for all participants. Your participation in this community signifies your agreement to adhere to our guidelines and respect the decisions made by our Leadership Team. Thank you for understanding and cooperating as we endeavor to foster a nurturing environment for everyone on their journey of faith, sobriety, and personal growth.
Finally, the But Jesus Drank Wine Community is not a coaching group. By participating as a member of the BJDW Community you understand and acknowledge that coaching services will not be provided by Meade Holland Shirley, Christy Osborne, and/or any guest speakers/coaches on (and not limited to) the zoom calls or within the online community space.

However, within the BJDWC is a small group coaching space called The Missing Peace (TMP). The Missing Peace coaching space is a private space for members of our community who are looking for additional support as they work to move out of stuck in their relationship with alcohol. This space includes recorded weekly coaching calls with Christy and Meade. This space is open to all community members but is not included with community membership.

For more information on TMP, visit the The Missing Peace space, located on the left hand side of the community page, under “Spaces”.
Inquiries about 1:1 coaching services and opportunities to work with Meade and Christy can be directed to hello@butjesusdrankwine.com or through their respective businesses: meade@meadehollandshirley.com and christy@lovelifesober.co.uk

Thank you for being a valued member of the But Jesus Drank Wine Community. We look forward to embarking on a profound journey of faith, sobriety, and personal growth with you. Together, we will grow, gather, and thrive.
