Join me to rediscover joy, purpose, and a life beyond nightly drinking.
Hi, I’m Meade! I’m a certified coach, writer, speaker, ministry leader and podcast co-host of “But Jesus Drank Wine” Podcast and Community. I’m also a co-founder of, The Missing Peace, where I inspire others to curiosity and freedom around the alcohol habit that’s keeping them stuck, so that they can re-discover their God-created self and live a life imbued with purpose, joy and peace.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, my career began in law after graduating from the University of Southern California and the Pepperdine University School of Law. After passing the California bar exam, I moved to London, where I held roles in law, public relations, and business development—including working for the UK Parliament and founding a popular website for American expat women.
But it wasn’t until I made the life-changing decision to choose sobriety that I discovered my true calling. What started as a personal journey soon grew into a passion for helping other women struggling with alcohol. The experience of walking through my own battles has shaped my belief that lasting freedom is possible for everyone—with the right support.
As the author of LOVE LIFE SOBER: A 40-DAY ALCOHOL FAST TO REDISCOVER YOUR JOY, IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH, AND RENEW YOUR MIND, published by Penguin Random House, I’ve shared my story and the practical steps to help women renew their lives. My book has become a resource for women seeking more than just sobriety—a total transformation of mind, body, and spirit.
In addition to my role as a senior sobriety coach, I’m a co-host of the But Jesus Drank Wine Podcast, where we candidly talk about the intersection of faith, sobriety, and life’s complexities. I’ve had the privilege of helping women across the US and UK transform their relationships with alcohol using a powerful blend of faith, neuroscience, and practical coaching.
I live in Surrey, England with my husband, our two children—Ella and Carter—and our cavapoo, Copper. When I’m not coaching or podcasting, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family, writing, playing any racquet sport, or enjoying walks in the British countryside.
I believe that with faith and the right tools, anyone can break free from alcohol and rediscover the joy they were meant to experience. I can’t wait to walk this journey with you and watch you step into the freedom that’s waiting for you.
My journey began five years ago when I found myself stuck in a life that looked shiny and happy on the outside, but on the inside, it felt anything but. I was grappling with the internal conflict surrounding my daily wine habit. Though my drinking seemed typical compared to those in my social circle, deep down, I knew something wasn’t quite right and often worried that I might have a drinking problem. However, I later realized that it wasn’t a drinking problem I had; it was a thinking problem.
Through the discovery of a non-traditional method for giving up booze, I bravely confronted the stories that kept me trapped in the drinking cycle. This allowed me to permanently break up with my beloved nightly wine “reward” and find the freedom and peace I had been craving as an effortless non-drinker in an alcohol-saturated world.
I am incredibly grateful for the divine intervention that redirected my path and liberated me from the trap of the elusive mommy wine culture. Now, I stand as a beacon of inspiration, having coached thousands toward a life of freedom. My coaching style, characterized by compassion and conviction, incorporates my Change-Your-Thinking-To-Change-Your-Drinking methodology and my Missing P.E.A.C.E framework. This has endeared me to many as a trusted mentor, guiding them to effortless freedom from alcohol and other habits that keep them stuck, leading them toward lives filled with purpose, joy, and peace.
I live outside of Atlanta with my husband, our three children (ages 16, 14, and 10), and our favorite golden girl, a golden retriever named Tinsley. After Jesus and my family, I cherish the beach, UVA men’s basketball, The Dave Matthews Band, and *The Chosen* TV series—just a few of my favorite things!
True freedom comes when not drinking feels totally effortless, and everything you love doing is even more enjoyable without alcohol. By renewing our minds and rewiring the conditioned responses of our bodies, we can make real change around the alcohol habit that is keeping us stuck. However, to experience lasting change—and the freedom, peace, and joy we crave—we must address our whole selves – mind, body and soul.
Join The Missing Peace small-group coaching for a completely unique approach to finding lasting change around alcohol. No more spinning your wheels searching for that one last missing piece of the stuck-in-the-drinking cycle puzzle that will finally set you free. Because the missing “peace” you crave isn’t actually found in a thing, a quick solution for change or merely as a result of changing the habit – it’s found in a Person, the Person who is Peace – Jesus.
